27. Hemp kumihimo necklaceComposed of hemp threads, rudraksha and holy basil wood. Kumihimo is a craft of braiding threads together to make cords. Kicho-musubi is a Japanese traditional tying technique. The technique of kumihimo came along with the introduction of Buddhism to Japan. It was used as a decorative cord for accessories of butsugu (Buddhist altar fittings), Buddhist scriptures and scrolls.
